While there, he received the inspiration to found a religious order in which former inmates could live the religious life alongside women with untroubled pasts. What sort of craziness was this? Against great odds, the dream became a reality within a very few years, and the community he founded is still in existence. This is the life of the saintly founder, who was beatified in 2012 and whose canonization is expected soon.
