This is the first edition of the catechism, commissioned by St. John Paul II, painstakingly supervised by then-Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI) and released in 1994. Later slightly revised, this first edition is still an excellent (and now very inexpensive) resource for learning the Catholic faith. Buy for donating to prisoners or the missions, handing out in Legion of Mary door-to-door work, or as a gift for a seeker whom you may know. This deal is a steal!
